Happy Easter, Happy Opening Day and Happy April Fool’s Day!
So Facebook’s “privacy” policies have finally been brought to the public’s attention. This surprised exactly zero of our clients so I do not think we need to dig too far into the issue.
The bottom line:
- Facebook is still unavoidable for marketers.
- Be careful what you post on the internet because the internet is forever.
- Zuckerberg has always acted first and asked for forgiveness later.
- This will not be the last time Facebook mistreats its users.
- Work on building a presence on multiple platforms.
- Your website is still your most valuable marketing asset.
